POETRY AND HEALING WORKSHOP W/MARY ELLEN LOUGH

November 3, 2018 3pm

Carve out space in your busy life for the deep and sacred work of self-exploration and nurturing the voice within. Poetry guides you into your invisible realms. "La chispa," the ember of the "hidden one," always alive at the center of your being, waiting for the smallest breath to blow it back into a flame. Poetic medicine draws us close to mystery and teaches practices of deep listening, cultivating awareness, finding beauty in the unexpected, embracing our whole story, rewilding the soul, and nourishing the parts of us craving authenticity and creative fire, life source. We will be reading, reflecting on and writing poems together in a safe and nurturing circle. No previous writing experience required. We will have a 30 minute restorative yoga class as well so please wear comfortable clothing.
